More than half of the acting nominees at the 2018 Academy Awards have been through this rodeo in the past as they are either former nominees or winners.

Only eight of the 20 actors nominated are first-time nominees. While some of them are young actors new to the scene, others are veterans who are long overdue for the recognition.

Among the first-time nominees, we predicted that at least two of them are going to win big at the show tonight.
